Testing & Trial

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, we are steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:57-58

Therefore we submit to God.

We resist the devil and he will flee from us.

If we died with Him,

We shall also live with Him.

If we endure,

2 Timothy 2:11-12

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for us, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

In this we greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, we have been distressed by various trials, that the genuineness of our faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen we love.

Though now we do not see Him, yet believing, we rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of our faith—the salvation of our souls.
